We turned our classroom into a Science Lab again this week as we explored Sun Safety. After making posters and learning about how to keep safe in the sun we decided to see how effective sun cream is. We started by using our Science train and asking the question 'Does sun cream work?' We used some cream with a sun protection factor (SPF) of 50 and made handprints on black paper. These are now on our classroom window and all we need to complete our experiment is some sun! We have predicted that the parts of the paper with sun cream will stay black but the other parts will fade. We will check on Friday and see our results!
