Belmont Primary

Belmont’s PTA is so fortunate to have such brilliant support from the wider school community. Without the support of all the parents, carers and teachers, the PTA couldn't fund projects that have added so much value to the children's education and enjoyment of Belmont Primary School. Our aim is not just fundraising; it's also about increasing the values of our school community and creating unique bonds across the school family that makes Belmont feel like such a special place to be part of. It's a great way to get to know other parents, particularly if you are a new parent to the school. It also gives the children a real sense of belonging.

We encourage you to become involved with the PTA in whatever capacity you can and welcome new and existing parents at the school to join us. Even if you cannot attend meetings, you can volunteer to help at events, or prepare resources at home to help us out. If you'd like to get involved, please contact us at and we look forward to welcoming you on board.

PTA members are working hard to provide some super fundraising activities for 2021/22. Hopefully some of these will also give us the chance to come together safely as a wider school community later in the year. We’re all ready for those opportunities to happen!

We’re thrilled that last year, despite difficult circumstances, we were able to raise almost £14,000! In 2019-2020, PTA funds went towards outdoor play equipment, maths resources, classroom toys and iPads. Our funds from 2020-2021 will provide lots more exciting resources, including new reading books, ICT equipment and an awning to provide some covered outdoor space in the P1 playground.

In the coming year, we’d love to be able to fund more new equipment that all the children can benefit from. We set ourselves a target of raising £3,000 by Christmas, and managed to surpass it! This term, we’d love to raise another £3,000. Please support us in whatever way you can.
