This week we have been learning the 'q' and 'j' sounds. Quarrelsome Queen likes everyone to be quiet so we had very cross faces when we were making the sound!
We brought in some amazing items for each sound and even introduced our class to a fruit called quince!
We made each sound in dough, using loose parts and with whiteboards. The hardest one was writing with a quill! We dipped a feather into our little pots of 'ink' and really tried our best with write 'q'. It wasn't as easy as we thought.
