Play Based Learning in P1SM 🤩

7th Feb 2023

We had a lovely playtime this morning.

In our classroom we had lots of fun being imaginative with our small world toys. Today we had mini Shopkins figures, dolls, dinosaurs and rescue people.

Everyday we have construction toys which help not only with the development of our hand and wrist muscles, but also our Numeracy language. We think about what we are going to create, sort for the pieces we need, make changes as we go along, talk about making it taller and what shapes to use. The whole time we are collaborating with our friends!

We enjoyed our polar sensory tray and sorted the polar animals. We even poured rice over Bella, our class teddy!
