We listened to a story about a lazy King. He had 8 servants and every time he wanted something he rang a bell and they all came running! We had to compose 8 different alarms so that they would know which servant he wanted each time. We had to work with a partner, choose 2 percussion instruments and compose 8 different calls with 3 beats in each! In order to perform these we had to record our different rhythms using symbols on our whiteboards. It was a very noisy but fun problem solving activity.
