We are starting to think about growing and changing. Our play area has been transformed into a castle! We really enjoyed dressing up as the characters from Jack and the Beanstalk and retelling the story.
In the tuff tray we had a STEM challenge. We have to use the materials to build an enormous beanstalk. It has to be tall and isn't allowed to wobble!
At the listening centre we listened to the story and use story pebbles to choose a character and write speech bubbles for them using our phonic sounds and writing skills.
We also created castles using construction toys and use embossed paper to print bricks onto our own castle designs at the art zone.
Lots of super learning which was also great fun 😊
