This week, we started new Play Based Learning linked to our Celebrations topic. We decorated the role play area ready for a birthday party and we were even lucky enough to have some children in our class with a birthday this week!
We also decorated the doll’s house with banners, made birthday treats with the play dough and measured ingredients with the sand to make some cakes and buns for our party.
Some children made birthday invitations using the app ‘Pic Collage’ on the iPads and some of us also made birthday cards. It was great fun!
