Today we began our lovely new topic all about Springtime and Growth. Much of our Play Based Learning is now based around Jack and the Beanstalk. We played a 2D Jack & the Beanstalk shape game, build Numicon castles, explored the medium of print to craft some castles, played ‘what’s the time Mr Wolf’ on the iPads to practise o’clock and half past times, made Spring bookmarks, planted flowers in our soil tray, constructed castles with waffles tiles, and even carried out a police investigation in our castle role play area to find out who stole the giant’s harp, hen and coins. We are very much looking forward to indoor and outdoor planting this week. 🪴
