P2GS Maths Investigation 🧜‍♀️

28th Jun 2022

Today we carried out a maths investigation. Merman Johnny lived at the bottom of the ocean. He had some precious shells. The children had to work out how many shells he had based on some clues …

The total number of shells is between 16 and 30.

If the shells are in sets of 5 there will 4 shells left over.

If the shells are in sets of 3 there will be 0 left over.

If the shells are in sets of 4 there will be 0 left over.

Following some trial and error and super teamwork, the children solved the investigation.

Well done P2 👏
