P2 had a super day meeting some small pets and learning all about how to care for them. It was great for the children to see real pets as it made their learning more interesting and exciting for them. The children were all so well behaved and gentle with the pets.
Our class were very lucky to have an extra special visit from Rowan the assistance dog. Rowan is a working dog who is specially trained. He can also be used as a therapy dog for children who are not confident around dogs. Rowan was so well behaved and the children just loved having him in school. Thank you to Lani and her Daddy for bringing him to visit.
