P2 Play Based Learning has turned Autumnal!
We have been thinking and writing about Autumn during World Around Us and Literacy sessions. This week during Play all of our activities were related to Autumn too.
We used cinnamon, ginger and chocolate play dough to create hedgehogs, owls and other hibernating animals. We added pasta, feathers, lentils and other materials to our creations.
In the sand there were leaves of every colour and shape! We used paint strips to identify and sort the leaves by colour and even identified which trees the leaves are from.
We had the best time working with construction materials to make dens for hibernating creatures. We even created a perch for the bat to hang from.
Blue bot was used to programe instructions and make swirly patterns with Autumn coloured pens.
We are looking forward to Play Based Learning again!
