As part of our Shopping topic we took every day items that you can buy in a shop and made predictions about how they would react in water. We used rice, salt, sugar and sand. A small amount of each item was placed into containers numbered 1-4. We then added water and stored each one to see if it dissolved in water! Following this we recorded our findings. We had great fun working in pairs.
