We read the Julia Donaldson story 'Room on a Broom'. We talked about the different characters and the order in which they appeared in the story. Then, we went outside to our outdoor classroom and used our observation skills to find the characters which Mrs McPherson had hidden in the bushes, plants, willow tunnel and trees. After this we used ingredients to make a truly magnificent potion. We mixed the baking powder, food colouring, glitter and vinegar. We made predictions about what would happen and then observed the bubbling potions!
