We had a birthday in our class today - Teddy 🧸 turned 5 and got 5 presents!
The children were given a problem to investigate. Each year Teddy gets the same number of presents as his age. How many presents has Teddy had since he was born?
We used unfix cubes to help us solve the problem.
We then carried out a similar problem for Teddy’s big brother who turned 7 today.
The children had fantastic strategies for working out the problem and lots of us were able to solve it.
