On Friday we made a repeating pattern using skittles around a plate. We added water and PREDICTED what we thought might happen. We OBSERVED that the water dissolved the colouring from each skittle making a lovely rainbow effect. The skittles eventually turned white, and the colouring on the plate went a yucky brown colour when all the colours mixed. What a fun experiment!
