We had great fun exploring 2d shapes this week, especially on Thursday when we had Maths Day and wore our number and pattern adorned clothes! Thanks as always to you parents and carers for entering into the fun spirit of the day and organising the fun clothing 🥰 We made shape pizzas and counted and recorded how many of each shape we used. We connected straws and lolly sticks together to make squares, rectangles and triangles. We used shape fans to identify the shape properties. We looked at everyday objects to identify shapes. We made and decorated shape hats. We loved singing our shape song in our special maths day assembly with the rest of the school!
