P1JC’s day began with Assembly and Play based learning then we had a Rapunzel measuring activity. We had to estimate on our whiteboards how many cubes would be the same length as her hair. After break we predicted how many mattress we would use in our Princess and the Pea STEM investigation. It took 20 pieces of material each with a different thickness before we couldn’t feel the pea. We had a Gingerbread man hunt in the playground and we found all the missing ones using the clues.In the afternoon we had lots of fun dancing at our Grand Ball. We looked at castles in NI and then made our own 2d shape castles. Before we went home we had a ‘Guess which fairytale character I am ‘circle time. It was a very busy and fun day !
