In our maths activity time we learnt early coding skills using JIT5 turtle. We planned the route for our rocket using the forwards, backwards and left and right arrows. We pressed play and watched our rocket follow our coding to get to its destination. We also had to continue the caterpillar number sequence from the given magnetic number - some were really tricky ! We made caterpillar patterns using beads and spools , we put the finished ones on a leaf. Finally we worked together to complete large floor number and topic jigsaws.
