This week we have been very busy learning how to write the number 3. Mrs McPherson showed us a special trick to help. We all did really well.
During our Numeracy activities we played a game with Ms Dinis and Mrs Patterson where we had to roll a dice and identify the number from the pattern of the spots. We then had to find the cookie with the correct amount of spots and place it on the right number in our cookie jars! So much counting and lots of thinking going on when we just thought we were having great fun.
Using the elephants we had to create sets of 3s. Each set had to have a small, medium and large elephant.
We passed the bunny to the number that came after us during our Mental Maths saying 'I am number 1 and I pass to number 2' and kept going so the numbers got higher. Every so often the bunny would fall down a hole and we had to start again!
