We used the story of The Gingerbread Man and imagined that the Gingerbread Man decided to swim across the river. We each made a prediction as to whether he would float or sink.

We then worked in groups to explore other objects that he collected as he escaped from the oven!
Following our investigation we recorded our findings and then reported back to the rest of our class.
