We have been learning about animals that love in Polar Regions. They have a layer of blubber under their skin that means they can survive in such cold conditions. We used some lard as blubber, wrapped one hand up in our own blubber and had 2 bowls of ice cold water. 🥶 🧊 We placed one hand in a bowl and the blubber wrapped hand in the other bowl. We couldn't feel the cold water in the blubber protected hand!
