Girls and boys

You have been doing home learning now for 6 weeks. Each week I am amazed at how fantastic your work is. Each week it seems to get better and better.

This week I hope were able to talk to an adult about all of the things that make you special. I loved seeing your hands with all the lovely words on each finger. You really are brilliant boys and girls.

You did really well with the beginning and ending sounds worksheets and I hope you watched the video with the sounds s,a,t,p,i,n. The ‘v’ and ‘b’ pages were really good and you even were able to spell some of the words. As for the jumbled sentences, they were super! The cut and stick ‘a’ and ‘e’ beginning sounds page was quite difficult as ‘a’ and ‘e’ sounds are nearly the same. So well done for working that out.

Your number pages were also so good. The add on 1 pages were brilliant. Now you can do adding sums! You can practise writing sums yourself now with the + and = signs.

You were able to sort the numbers in less than/more than 6 and 10.

I know you like a challenge and I could see that working out who lives in each house was far too easy for you clever people!

Did you made a card and give it to someone? If you did I’m sure it made them happy.

Next week is our half term break. So you won’t have any home learning to do. That will restart on Mon 22nd February and will be on the home learning page on Friday 19th. Next week maybe you could play some board games with your family. Go outside for a walk or a ride on your bike if the weather is nice. Perhaps you could bake something nice to eat or watch a family movie. You could paint a picture or make a model with boxes, plastic bottle or other things you recycle. I hope you have fun whatever you do.

I will talk to you soon. Take care

Love from Mrs J
