What a fabulous trip to W5! There was great excitement this morning getting the bus from school.
The class began with an exciting workshop about space - The Space Race. Ben taught us about life on the international space station. We saw real life astronauts brush their teeth and play football on the ISS. We even learnt about toilets in space! After ‘smelling’ the moon and looking at a tiny piece of the moon, we then made our own rockets. Launching them was good fun and some went really far!
It was great to explore the various floors at W5 and brave the huge Climbit frame.
Thank you so very much to our adult helpers who gave up their time to help us today. We greatly appreciate you coming. Well done to P3 for a lovely day out and I’m sure you will all be ready for a rest this evening.
