The boys and girls were excited as they walked down to see all the shops on the Belmont Road. They enjoyed looking at the shop names and recognising words. The children went into one of the barber shops although no one got their hair cut!
We visited Belmont larder and Elizabeth's bakery, enjoying the smell of freshly baked food. Yum!
We said ' Hello' to the ladies in the pharmacy and chatted to the butchers. We stopped to look at the fruit and vegetables at the greengrocers.
The children enjoyed the experience shopping in Tesco, spending their own money to get a treat.
