What a fantastic day we had! We all came to school dressed in green. We made a collages all about the importance of recycling and gave new life to old materials by crafting beautiful egg carton flowers. We also spent time reading a wonderful book about Sir David Attenborough. We learned all about his adventures and how he has spent his life teaching the world to care for nature and the animals we share it with. Some of us got our hands dirty with some planting, and we had a great chat about how we can help at home, like remembering to turn off the lights when we leave a room.
