P2EP Castle Espie 🦆
We had a wonderful day on our trip to Castle Espie! After an exciting bus journey, we enjoyed our break and got ready for a day full of fun.
Our first activity was making smelly pots. We explored the area to collect different plants, leaves, and flowers, then crushed and mixed them with water to create our own unique scents. We had great fun naming our creations and sharing the different smells with our friends.
Next, we spent some time in the play park, where we had lots of fun climbing, exploring, and playing together.
We also learned all about mummy ducks and daddy ducks before taking part in a duck hunt around the forest.
Our last activity was building nests. Using natural materials such as sticks, leaves, moss, and grass, we created cosy homes for mummy ducks. Some of us even found pine cones that looked just like duck eggs!
It was a fantastic trip filled with fun, adventure, and discovery. Thank you to all of our fabulous parent helpers that came with us!
