Two challenges this week in Science:
1) build a structure independently using only 5 sweets and 10 sticks
2) build a chimney with a partner to hold Santa using as many sticks and sweets as you want
The class had so much fun working on their own and then with a friend. They all were able to construct a chimney to support Santa which they were very pleased about. We looked at many different structures/buildings around the world for inspiration and the class enjoyed being able to identify the ones that they knew.
