We have been working hard on ordering numbers and understanding Mathematical language such as before, after, more, less and missing number.
During Mental Maths, we ordered digest cards from 1-10 and played a game with our partner where they took a digit away and we had to tell them which number was missing.
We then talked about our strategy for finding out the missing number. Some of us started at 1 and counted forwards until we got to the missing number and some of us looked at the gap in the number line and the numbers that came before and after.
