Belmont Eco Week - 24-29th April

IT’S ECO WEEK AT BELMONT!              Monday 24th – Friday 29th April 2022

We would encourage as many children as possible to be involved in all our Eco activities in the week we return to school after the holidays:

  1. Why not park a little further away from our school and walk more of the journey? (If you live close enough you could walk it all!)                                                                                                                               
  2. Make sure you bring a healthy snack every day this week!
  1. Bring a plant or a cutting from your garden and plant it in one of our welly boots to decorate the school fence (Come anytime on any day and plant together or send it in with your child)
  1. We are taking part in The Big Battery Hunt. Send in any used batteries to us, to help us recycle and also try to win prizes for our school. Ask relatives too.

A Special Homework for everyone this week:

It is always good to recycle rather than throw away.  Make a recycled art picture using items that some people

would throw away or make a junk model.  Bring into school on Friday 29th April !

 

A Special Activity in school this week:

Everyone will walk a mile round our school on Friday (during the school day).  Look out for lots of photos on our website!
