Belmont Primary

Your Chairperson is Christine Bower leading the PTA in the pursuit of fun and fundraising. We encourage you to become involved with the PTA in whatever capacity you can and welcome new and existing parents at the school to join us.  Even if you cannot attend meetings, you can volunteer to help at events, or prepare resources at home to help us out.

Without the support of all the parents, carers and teachers at the school, the PTA couldn't fund projects that have added so much value to the children's education and enjoyment of Belmont Primary School. The aim is not just fundraising; it's also about increasing the values of our school community and creating unique bonds across the school family that makes Belmont Primary School feel like a special place to be part of. It's a great way to get to know other parents particularly if you are a new parent to the school. It also gives the children a real sense of belonging. If you'd like to get involved, in any way you can, please contact us and we look forward to welcoming you onboard!

"I remember that first PTA meeting, hesitantly walking into the staff room and instantly recognising some faces from the P1 playground and my daughter’s new class. I quickly found it to be an extremely welcoming group of people, collectively pulling together for a common cause - fundraising for the school and knowing that in some way we are bettering the school environment and educational experience for our children."

FUNDS RAISED 2017/2018

In the 2017/2018 academic year, events organised by the PTA raised over £13,700, which we couldn't do without. Money raised will be spent on exciting new topic materials for each year group, activities and resources to promote mental health and wellbeing, new Maths resources for the whole school, art and craft materials for every class and equipment to further develop investigative work in Science.

If you have any ideas (no matter how unusual they are) that have the potential to raise funds for the school or are aware of funding opportunities that we could tap into, please email
