All the Primary 1&2 pupils had a visit from Steve the Street Cleaner courtesy of Belfast City Council. Steve talked to us about the importance of keeping our streets clean. He showed us the tools he uses everyday to clean up all the litter. He couldn’t bring his cart so he made a cart using children and chose a child to use it to pick up rubbish. He even showed us how to dispose of dog poo safely to avoid spreading nasty germs. Mrs Grahame joined to promote keeping our streets clean. Steve ended with a very catchy song with the children joining in for the chorus. Great fun was had by all! Thanks Steve!
