P2 wrote letters to Santa with a difference! Instead of asking for gifts and toys we asked Santa lots of questions. During Shared Writing we explored question words - how, what, when, do, why and where. We also practised using question marks in our writing. Mrs McPherson showed us how to start and end a letter too so that Santa would know who had written each letter. Our questions were amazing! We used our letter sounds to write words, as well as trying to keep our handwriting neat and remember capital letters and spaces in between words. Phew!
